Agreement Terms

2. Relationship

Carrier operates as an independent contractor. Day Trip Enterprise, LLC ("Dispatch") will locate, book, and assist with loads based on the Carrier's preferences. Dispatch acts only as an agent, not as an employer or partner.

3. Term

This agreement renews automatically every six (6) months. Either party may end the agreement with 30 days' written notice.

4. Dispatch Services

Dispatch will:

  • Locate freight based on your equipment and routes
  • Handle broker/shipper communication and paperwork
  • Send all rate confirmations for your approval
  • Support with load issues, paperwork, and billing

Carrier will:

  • Accept or decline loads as desired
  • Maintain communication during transport
  • Provide updates as requested

5. Compensation

Carrier agrees to pay 10% of the gross load rate (excluding accessorials) per dispatched load. Payment is due after load completion and delivery documents are submitted.

If a load is cancelled by the broker/shipper, no fee applies. If a load is cancelled by the carrier, the 10% dispatch fee still applies.

6. Equipment & Drivers

Carrier must maintain all trucks and trailers in good working order and provide qualified, licensed drivers who follow all DOT and customer facility rules.

7. Freight Responsibility

Carrier assumes full responsibility for freight from pickup to delivery and agrees to handle all claims for damage, delay, or loss directly with the shipper or broker.

8. No Sub-Contracting

Carrier agrees not to sub-contract any loads without prior written approval from Day Trip Carrier Services.
